Maxjuism
I'm a little tired of using "the three monotheisms" or "the monotheistic
religions" or whatever to refer to Judaism, Mahometanism and Xtianity. For
one thing those phrases are too long to repeat over and over in a single
essay. For another these are just three offshoots of a single religion. So I
hereby coin the term "maxjuism" to refer to those three religions. A maxju
is an adherent of one of those three religions. And if something like a
doctrine pertains to those three religions in common, it is maxjuistic. Non-maxjuistic
monotheisms like zoroastrianism and the apparent monotheism founded by that
Egyptian pharoah fellow are not covered by this term.
