Richard
Dawkins: The God Delusion (Houghton Mifflin Company, 2006) Dawkins
may have the artistic acumen and taste of the average fifteen year old
schoolboy, but I see no reason why he should make a spectacle of that fact.
A life spent mooning over THE GREAT MOZART or re-reading Wodehouse’s stale
jokes strikes me as little better than sharing a trailer with some
overweight Baptist preacher. Dawkins is a good example of why many cultured
people simply don’t like scientists. |
