Brian Wallis: Art After Modernism - Rethinking Representation (The New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York, 1984) Man it feels good to pull the old disco shoes and "I Hate Reagan" bumper stickers out of the closet. Hard to believe though that we could ever have read this stuff seriously. Most of the essays (There are some notable exceptions including Foucault's own) either consist of neo-Marxist lesbo left spittle or read like poor translations from Serbo-Croatian.
